It’s a busy time in the garden at the moment, but that hasn’t stopped me starting to think about holidays! I was thinking about sightseeing tours which reminded me about a trip my wife and I took to New York in Spring 1995.

We had a great time as there are so many things to do in New York. We stayed in a hotel very close to Times Square which was great for exploring and particularly good for Broadway where we took in a performance of Cats.

We did all of the usual tourist things like the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, lots of shopping and eating as well as visiting museums and galleries. It really was a memorable trip – I’m hoping to return to New York at some point in the future.
