Back garden landscaping ideas
Before you start, you need to decide what sort of garden you want. You’ll need to balance your landscaping ideas between your prefered style, the garden size and conditions (for example soil type) and your gardening skills and time available. You will also need to take your available budget into account.
You may want to consider a traditional layout such as a cottage garden or you may prefer something more modern, such as a Zen garden. Take the opportunity to explore gardening books (one of my favourites is Garden Planning and Garden Design: 500 Ideas and Professional Plans for Fantastic, Easy Garden Improvement) and magazines (check out these for some inspiration).
One thing that you will find in almost all gardens are trees. Using evergreen trees is a good garden landscaping. They add a stately nature to the feel of your home while keeping it welcoming and warm, as well as adding some all year round colour. Many people also like to use deciduous trees in the garden.
Another good back garden landscaping idea is to use hard landscaping. This is the use of things like rocks, fences and walls. These can make your garden look very interesting during all of the seasons. You can have climbing plants on it in the summer and spring and pretty trees around it that will look great in the winter. When looking for a good back garden landscaping ideas you need to look for other options besides just plants.
I’ll write more about hard landscaping techniques in future posts.

Here is a picture you can share with your readers in your landscaping ideas area. I call it “Giving landscaping the bootâ€, ha ha. It’s really novel rural idea, easy to do and adds personality. The neat thing is, even if you only have a balcony, you can make one of these boots. (PS: this is a real actual boot, no one wares anymore.)
