A classy way to mark your plants
I’ve always disliked the cheap plastic name tags that come with plants you buy from the garden centre. They always seem to lower the tone if you leave them next to the plant in your beautifully landscaped garden. If you leave them out, it’s always a challenge remembering what you planted and where, particularly for perennials that may die back to ground level during the winter.
Well, I just found a classy solution - metal garden markers. The guys at metalgardenmarkers.com supply garden markers, plant stakes, and plant labels in a range of differing styles, shapes and sizes. They are a simple, attractive, and inexpensive way to keep your plants organised. They also sell accessories such as marker pens and provide guidance on how to best mark the labels.
Labels are generally available in packs of 25 or 100. I particularly like the copper version which comes in 10″ size. If you want something taller, you can get 15″ and 20″ versions in zinc.
You can pick up a free brochure and sign up for a monthly newsletter on the site too.
If you are as forgetful as I am and like to know where you planted your favourite plants then Metal Garden Markers offer a classy way of marking your plants.
